It is important to note that the contributors of quality and production are the employees. Health surveillance is an activity carried out to determine how fit the workforce is. Every organization should strive to do this as they try to improve their productivity. It has the following advantages on both the company and the workforce.

The organization gets to detect sickness before they get severe and bring about fall in the production capacity. Due to the busy schedules of most of the organizations, rarely is there time to go for check-ups. Most of them live on painkillers thus suppressing a severe condition for long. Again an update of the same insurance cover will call for the taking of such actions from time to time to get the right figures. This means that you have to ensure that a proper health assessment is carried out.

Another importance is the fulfillment of the legal obligations. As the government is making policies for the country, it needs to gather information concerning the medical conditions of all individuals.
