The temperature of plenum varies since it is made up of different materials like the PVC and Teflon.

The other material of wire that is resistant to flame is plenum. During combustion, they emit corrosive gasses that are also toxic. The plenum cables are preferred in fire extinguishers since they are good in the circulation of air.it is made up of different materials like the PVC and Teflon thus making it have the temperature that varies because of different materials utilized in making it.

The wire size is another characteristic of cables you should check. The size is usually expressed as American wire gauge. The lower the number of AWG the more diameters of the increases. The other type of shielding is the double shield; they are stranded wires that are interwoven in form of a cylinder.
