The method is the same as a when a radiologist from a hospital looks at the results to find what is wrong with the body.

The second method, is the ultrasonic examination. It is done via high frequencies the sound waves transmits towards the surface onto object to find out changes within the materials characteristics. By introducing the sound waves to the surface, the inner flaws the material have could be found. This a procedure also done in hospitals for the same purpose but with human bodies instead.

Another one is the magnetic particle examination that is done by creating a magnetic field into what is called a ferromagnetic material and applies iron particles to the surface of the item. The surface and near ones affect the flow of the area within part that is causing the particles to gather in locations of flux leakage.

Finally, the penetrant method is the fourth. Using a dyed solution, it will be applied on top of surfaces to penetrate the surface breakable cavity. When the excess solution is taken out, a bleed effect will happen to the material. The resulting color contrast make the bleed out very viable to the eye.

By using all these different ones, the nondestructive has become the core that makes up the industrial sector. Now, the jobs are made much easier by the methods and advancements. Not only has the industrial sector benefited from this, but so the medical field as well.
