The way in which the United States relates with other nations all over the globe was significantly shaped by what happened on 9/11. Firstly, an undergraduate degree must be obtained in any field of study one wants. This usually takes a period of up to four years. Various factors determine the length of the period an undergraduate degree takes to complete.

The main prerequisite for admission into law school is the undergraduate degree. This takes between four and five years and upon completing, the learner earns a Juris Law Degree. In law school, individuals are supposed to major in immigration law where courses like employment, citizenship, interviewing and statutory analysis are covered.

After completing law school, one must proceed to take and pass the bar exam. Passing this exam earns one a license to become a full-pledged lawyer. However, before applying for a job, one needs to have work experience and internship.
